Trevor Calhoun Killed in Car Accident on Sierra Highway near Mountain Springs Road
Los Angeles, California (March 27, 2021) – The authorities have disclosed the identity of a man who was killed in a car accident in Acton on Wednesday night.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Sierra Highway, north of Mountain Springs Road.
19-year-old Emily Dominguez, of Santa Clarita, was driving a 1996 Toyota Corolla southbound on Sierra Highway when she lost control and drifted into the northbound lanes and collided head-on with another vehicle.
Trevor Calhoun, 19, of Canyon Country, who was a passenger in the Toyota Corolla was killed in the accident.
Dominguez was transported to Antelope Valley Hospital for treatment. She was later arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence.
The 59-year-old Palmdale man who was driving the second vehicle sustained minor injuries but declined treatment.
