Trenton Mersola Identified as Rider Killed in Riverside Motorcycle Crash at Central Avenue and El Cerrito Drive
Riverside, California (May 7, 2020) – The man who was killed in a motorcycle crash on Tuesday afternoon in Riverside has been identified as Trenton Mersola, 20, of Riverside, according to police.
The deadly crash occurred at around 4:10 p.m., on May 5, at the intersection of Central Avenue and El Cerrito Drive.
Mersola was riding his 2017 Harley Davidson motorcycle westbound on Central Avenue when he failed to stop at a red light. Mersola’s bike collided with a 2009 Toyota Rav-4 at the intersection, said the police.
The Rav-4 was turning left on a green arrow at the time.

Following the mishap, Mersola was declared dead at the scene.
A 22-year-old Riverside woman, the Rav-4 driver, was uninjured in the crash.
Drugs or alcohol were not considered a factor in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
