Tracy, California (December 11, 2019) – A motorist was seriously injured in a traffic collision involving a big rig in Tracy on Wednesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Interstate 205 Freeway near Grant Line Road.
A white Nissan sedan was traveling on the roadway when it clipped a big rig for unknown reasons.
The impact of the collision sent the vehicle on the right side of the freeway where it hit another passenger car.
The driver of the Nissan sustained major injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
A passenger in the second car was hospitalized with minor injuries.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
