2 Men, 2 Women Killed in Tracy Car Crash on Interstate 5 near Interstate 205
Tracy, California (September 19, 2020) – Two men and two women were killed in a single-vehicle accident on Friday night in Tracy, authorities said.
The deadly accident transpired at about 7:00 p.m., on September 18, on Interstate 5 near Interstate 205.
The California Highway Patrol attempted to stop a vehicle on southbound Interstate 5 for a moving violation, which prompted a brief high-speed chase. The chase was called off after the officers lost track of the car.
Moments later, the vehicle crashed into a tree after entering I-205 and exiting the freeway on Tracy Boulevard.

Sadly, four parties who were in the vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene.
Further details regarding the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
