1 Killed and Several Hurt in Tracy Multi-Vehicle Crash on 205 Freeway near 11th Street
Tracy, California (April 9, 2019) – One person was killed and several others injured in a traffic accident that involved multiple vehicles in Tracy early Saturday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident, which happened at around 6:12 a.m. April 6, occurred on the 205 Freeway near the 11th Street off-ramp.
The fatal accident involved four vehicles which collided for reasons still under investigation. One of the vehicles involved was reportedly traveling west in the freeway’s eastbound lanes prior to the collision.
At Least 1 Killed in Tracy Multi-Vehicle Collision
At least one person was killed in the crash. The injured parties were given treatment by the paramedics who arrived at the scene of the accident shortly after. The identities of the deceased and the wounded victims have not yet been released.
The accident resulted in the closure of all the three lanes of the freeway.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
