Woodland, California (November 13, 2019) – A tow truck driver was killed in a collision with a car on Tuesday in Woodland.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 4 p.m. November 12, at the intersection of Highway 16 and County Road 94B.
CHP said a Davis woman was driving across the intersection when her car was struck by a tow truck.
The impact of the collision caused the pickup truck to overturn and roll into a ditch, coming to rest on its roof.

The tow truck driver, identified only a Woodland resident, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The unidentified driver of the second car suffered minor injuries in the accident.
No further information was provided.
