2 Drivers Seriously Injured in Torrance Crash on Pacific Coast Highway

Torrance, California (February 18, 2019) –Two drivers were hurt in a traffic crash in Torrance on Sunday morning, according to the Torrance Police Department.
The accident was reported just before 9:00 a.m. February 17, on eastbound Pacific Coast Highway.
The driver of one of the vehicles was allegedly speeding recklessly eastbound the highway and failed to stop for a red light, broadsiding another car at the Prospect Avenue intersection.
The two drivers sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash. The victims were transported to a hospital for treatment. There were no other occupants in either vehicle at the time of the crash.
Police suspected alcohol may have been a factor in the accident.
The investigation is ongoing.
