Tipton, California (July 12, 2021) – A Tipton accident involving two vehicles Friday morning sent one person to the hospital, the California Highway Patrol said.
The major injury crash took place on Highway 99 near Highway 190 at approximately 4:50 a.m.
The accident involved two semi-trucks that crashed on the southbound side of the highway for undetermined reasons.

One unidentified person sustained major injuries and was rushed to an area hospital for medication.
The collision resulted in the closure of the southbound lanes of Highway 99 for an unknown time.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
