Timothy Stirton Killed in Scooter Accident at Silver Lake Boulevard and Effie Street in Los Angeles

Silver Lake, California (June 18, 2020) – The authorities have disclosed the identity of a scooter rider who died after being struck by an SUV in Silver Lake area of Los Angeles.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 10:35 a.m. June 17, at Silver Lake Boulevard and Effie Street.
The Los Angeles Police Department said 68-year-old Timothy Stirton was riding a scooter in the area when a Ford Explorer lost control and struck him.

The SUV also hit a tree before crashing into the L&E Oyster Bar.
Stirton was killed in the accident.
Two occupants in the SUV, a woman in her 70s and a man in his 50s, sustained minor injuries in the accident and were transported to the hospital for treatment.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
