Timothy Fesmire Sr ID’d as Man Killed in Yuba County Train Crash near Highway 70 and East 24th Street

Yuba County, California (February 12, 2019) – The man who was struck and killed by a train in Yuba County on Sunday morning has been identified as Timothy Fesmire Sr., 51, according to the Yuba County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash took place shortly after 11:30 a.m. February 10 on the Union Pacific train tracks just west of Highway 70 and East 24th Street.
The authorities said a transient man was hit by the southbound train. The victim was later identified as Fesmire Sr.
Fesmire Sr. died as a result of the crash.
The Union Pacific and Marysville Police Department are investigating the incident.
