Timothy Bauer ID’d as Man Killed in Oceanside Motorcycle Crash on Oceanside Boulevard

Oceanside, California (February 10, 2020) – The motorcyclist who was killed in a crash involving a vehicle on Saturday afternoon in Oceanside has been identified as Timothy James Bauer, 54, of Oceanside, according to a local news source.
The fatal crash happened at about 2:20 p.m. February 8, on Oceanside Boulevard.
Police said a truck was exiting the El Corazon compost facility when the driver made an illegal left turn and collided with a motorcyclist traveling westbound on Oceanside Boulevard.
Timothy Bauer Killed in Oceanside Motorcycle Collision
The rider, identified as Bauer, was killed in the crash.
Police arrested the driver of the truck, 64-year-old Ronald Estes, on charges of gross vehicular manslaughter.
Oceanside Boulevard was closed for several hours as officials investigated the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
