Timoteo Gomez Arrested after San Jose Accident at Mabury Road and Timothy Drive

San Jose, California (January 8, 2020) – Authorities have arrested a teenager DUI driver after a San Jose car accident that left two people with injuries in the area of San Jose.
The crash occurred at around 7:30 p.m. on January 6, at the intersection of Mabury Road and Timothy Drive.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a male party in a 2004 Honda Accord was driving at the intersection when he collided with a silver-colored 2003 Mercedes-Benz operated by 19-year-old Timoteo Gomez of San Jose. The impact caused the Mercedes to hit a large business sign that caused it to flip over and it came to a halt on the 900 block of Mabury Road.
Gomez and an 18-year-old female passenger suffered critical injuries following the collision. The two patients were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The Honda driver was unharmed in the accident.
Authorities later arrested Gomez on suspicion of DUI.
The investigation is underway.
