Thornton, California (July 17, 2021) – At least one person died in a traffic collision that happened Friday afternoon in Thornton, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision occurred at around 3:38 p.m. on Walnut Grove Road near Interstate 5.
The report said a tractor and another vehicle collided for unknown reasons. The tractor went off the roadway after the impact and overturned onto its side.
A party reporting the accident said two persons had serious injuries.
Firefighters responded to the scene and confirmed that at least one person was killed in the crash but did not mention if there were parties injured.
