Victim Killed in Eastvale 2-Vehicle Accident at Baron Drive and River Road ID’d as Theodore Rich
Eastvale, California (June 25, 2020) – 88-year-old Theodore Rich, of Hawthorne, has been identified as the victim who died following a traffic crash in Eastvale Wednesday morning, according to the Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner.
The fatal collision was reported at about 8:30 a.m. at Baron Drive and River Road in Riverside County.
The accident happened when a vehicle driven by Rich east on Baron Road tried to turn left on River Road. Rich’s vehicle was then struck by a southbound automobile on June 24.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said only the right turns were permitted at the time of the crash.

The southbound driver sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene and released.
Mr. Rich died on the way while being transported to the hospital by medical personnel for treatment of major injuries sustained in the mishap.
The wreck resulted in the closure of River Road in both directions as police and emergency crews worked to investigate and clear the scene.
