2 Seriously Injured in Temecula Car Accident on Interstate 15 near Winchester Road
Temecula, California (November 23, 2019) – Two people were seriously injured late Saturday morning in a traffic accident involving several vehicles on Interstate 15 in Temecula, authorities said.
The multi-vehicle crash was reported shortly after 11:45 a.m. on northbound Interstate 15 near Winchester Road.
According to the authorities, the collision involved a total of six vehicles. However, details of what led up to the crash are unknown at this time.
2 Hospitalized after Temecula Crash on Interstate 15
Two people sustained major injuries and were transported to nearby hospitals. Their names and current condition were not immediately disclosed.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, a SigAlert was issued blocking three northbound lanes of the freeway. All lanes were reopened just before 1:00 p.m.
The crash remains under investigation.
