At Least 1 Seriously Injured in Tehama County Car Crash on State Highway 99 at Gerber Road
Tehama County, California (January 7, 2020) – At least one person sustained major injuries in a traffic collision on Tuesday morning in the El Camino and Gerber area, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The major-injury collision happened on Highway 99 at Gerber Road at around 7:51 a.m. January 7.
As per the CHP report, a bus allegedly ran through a stop sign and collided with a Ford on Highway 99.
Due to the impact, the bus wound up in a nearby field while the Ford acquired major front-end damage.

At least one person sustained major injuries in the wreck. All wounded victims were attended to by medical personnel who responded to the scene shortly after the accident.
The crash resulted in the closure of the left-hand turn lane as police conducted the investigation.
The CHP is still investigating the cause of the accident.
