14-Year-Old Boy Killed, 3 Injured in Los Banos Car Crash on Ingomar Grade near Sylvester Road
Los Banos, California (October 2, 2020) – A 14-year-old boy was killed and three others injured in a car accident on Tuesday evening in Los Banos, authorities said.
The deadly single-vehicle accident transpired at about 5:00 p.m., on September 29, on Ingomar Grade, north of Sylvester Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2001 Chevrolet Suburban, driven by a 13-year-old boy, lost control on a curve and overturned multiple times.
3 Injured in Fatal Los Banos Car Crash on Ingomar Grade
The 14-year-old boy who was a passenger in the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver and his other two passengers, a 14-year-old boy, and a 15-year-old boy sustained minor injuries in the accident.
Drugs or alcohol were not suspected of having played a role in the mishap.
The crash remains under investigation.
