Chollas View, California (August 31, 2019) – 50-year-old James Shank suffered life-threatening injuries in a suspected hit-and-run crash in the area of Chollas View on Wednesday afternoon, a local news source reported.

The collision happened shortly after 2:00 p.m. August 28, near the 300 block of 47th.

A local news source indicated that 24-year-old Tantrina Spencer-Simmons ran multiple times over Shank near the 300 block of 47th. The initial report showed that Shank tried to intervene between two sisters involved in an alleged altercation at the time of the collision.
