Lemon Grove, California (March 11, 2021) – The woman who was killed Sunday afternoon in a traffic accident in Lemon Grove has been identified as Sydnee Shenault, 24, according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The deadly crash occurred at around 2:53 p.m. Sunday, March 7, in the 7800 block of Broadway.

Authorities said Shenault was driving her vehicle eastbound on Broadway when, for unknown reasons, she hit a curb before crashing into a parked vehicle.

Paramedics responded to the scene and performed CPR on Shenault before transporting her to Scripps Mercy Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

No other details were immediately provided.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
