Sutter County, California (September 10, 2019) – Injuries were sustained after a traffic crash that happened on Monday in Sutter County, according to authorities.

The collision happened at an unspecified time on Monday, September 9, on northbound Highway 99 at Sankey Road.

As per the California Highway Patrol officials, a semi-truck and a vehicle crashed for reasons yet to be determined. The car was pinned underneath the big rig following the crash.

Responding emergency crews along with medical personnel attended to the victims. The number of patients and their current condition was not immediately released.

The medics said that none of the involved persons suffered severe injuries in the crash.

Authorities shut down the roadway for several hours to give way to a clearing operation. The roadway has since reopened.
