Susanville, CA: 2 Injured in 2-Vehicle Accident on Highway 36
2 Sustains Injuries in Susanville Car Crash on Highway 36 near Highway 44

Susanville, California (July 10, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a two-vehicle collision that took place Thursday afternoon in Susanville.
At about 3:57 p.m. July 9, the CHP responded to the crash site on Highway 36 near Highway 44.
The accident involved a Honda Accord, and a Chevrolet Trailblazer that collided along the roadway for unknown reasons.
Due to the impact, the Chevrolet acquired front-end damage and broken front tire while the Honda had major rear-end damage with both its back tires broken.

Medical personnel responded to the scene and attended to a total of five unidentified victims.
Two of the five patients sustained minor to moderate injuries following the wreck.
The accident resulted in the highway’s closure in both directions as police and emergency crews worked to investigate and clear the scene.
