Susan Fernandez ID’d as Woman Killed in Hit-and-Run Motorcycle Accident on El Camino Real and Boca De La Playa in San Clemente
San Clemente, California (April 15, 2021) – The pedestrian who died after being struck by a motorcycle Wednesday night at an intersection in San Clemente has been identified as Susan Fernandez, 61, of San Clemente.
The deadly accident happened just before 10:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 14, at the intersection of El Camino Real and Boca De La Playa.
Authorities said Fernandez was hit by a motorcycle for an unknown reason at the San Clemente intersection.

Fernandez died at the scene.
The motorcyclist fled the scene, but was later located and arrested. The suspect, identified as Adam Horner, 38, of San Clement, was eventually booked into Orange County Jail on suspicion of felony hit and run.
His bail was set at $50,000.
The crash remains under investigation.
