Sunol, CA: Minor Injuries Sustained in Rollover Collision on 680 Freeway
At Least 1 Hurt in Sunol Car Crash on 680 Freeway near Calaveras Road On-Ramp
Sunol, California (May 17, 2021) – Minor injuries were sustained in a traffic collision that happened Monday morning on a freeway in Sunol, the California Highway Patrol said.
The incident occurred just before 7:00 a.m. on southbound 680 Freeway, just north of Calaveras Road on-ramp.
The report said a Dodge Challenger and a blue Lexus were involved in the crash.
The Challenger overturned onto its roof, and the Lexus overturned and landed back onto its wheels.
Authorities said minor injuries were sustained in the accident, and an ambulance was sent to the scene to offer medical aid.
Both vehicles were towed away from the scene.
CHP is investigating to establish the cause of the crash.
