Man Killed in Sunnyvale Hit-and-Run Accident at El Camino Real and Bernardo Avenue
Sunnyvale, California (December 11, 2020) – A pedestrian died after being struck by a hit-and-run driver Wednesday night at an intersection in Sunnyvale, according to a local news source.
At around 11:45 p.m. Wednesday, December 9, emergency personnel responded to the area of El Camino Real and Bernardo Avenue for a report of a pedestrian accident.
Upon arrival, they found a man lying down in the roadway with major injuries. He was transported to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. His name was withheld pending notification of family.
Authorities said the victim’s injuries “were consistent with being hit by a vehicle.
