Minor Injuries Sustained in Sunnyvale Car Collision on 80 Freeway near El Portal Drive
Sunnyvale, California (July 22, 2019) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a multi-vehicle accident that happened Monday morning on a freeway in Sunnyvale.
The incident took place at about 6:30 a.m. in the westbound lanes of 80 Freeway, just east of El Portal Drive.
CHP officials who responded to the scene said three vehicles, including a red Nissan Sentra, were involved in the accident.
Minor injuries were sustained in the crash. An ambulance was called to the scene to offer medical aid to the victims.
At least one vehicle was towed away from the scene.
