1 Killed, 1 Seriously Injured in Sun Valley Motorcycle Crash on Interstate 5 near Lankershim Boulevard
Sun Valley, California (July 20, 2020) – One person was killed and another seriously injured in a motorcycle accident on Sunday night in Sun Valley, authorities said.
The deadly crash happened at about 10:43 p.m., on July 19, on southbound Interstate 5 near Lankershim Boulevard.
A white BMW X5 struck a motorcycle with two passengers on the roadway, the police said.
The two riders were reportedly ejected on the roadway were one of the two victims was struck by a vehicle.

Sadly, the motorcyclist who was ejected and struck by another vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other rider was seriously injured and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The driver of the BMW was not injured in the mishap.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
