Woman Killed in Summerland Crash on Highway 101 near Padaro Lane
Summerland, California (May 2, 2021) – A woman was killed in a single-vehicle accident on Friday evening in Summerland, authorities said.
The deadly accident occurred at about 6:35 p.m., on April 30, in the northbound lanes of Highway 101 above Padaro Lane.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle was traveling on the highway when it drifted off the roadway and crashed into a tree.
Sadly, the woman who was in the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
More details about the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
