1 Killed, 2 Others Hospitalized in Stratford Car Crash on Kansas Avenue near 16th Avenue
Stratford, California (May 19, 2020) – One person was killed, and two others seriously injured when two vehicles collided head-on early Tuesday morning in Stratford, according to a local news source.
The crash took place at about 5:30 a.m. on Kansas Avenue near 16th Avenue.
As per the article, the California Highway Patrol said a driver of an SUV fell asleep behind the wheel and struck a pickup truck head-on.
A passenger in the SUV died at the crash scene. He was only identified as a man. Both drivers sustained serious injuries in the crash and were hospitalized in unknown condition.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
