2 Pedestrians Injured in Stockton Pedestrian Crash on 8 Mile Road and Davis Road

Stockton, California (October 2, 2019) – Two pedestrians were injured after a hit-and-run collision Sunday last week in the area of Stockton, according to authorities.
The collision happened at around 6:20 a.m. Sunday, September 25, on 8 Mile Road and Davis Road.
As per the CHP officials, two pedestrians were struck and injured by a vehicle for unknown reasons.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The two parties were transported to a local hospital for treatment. The names of the victims and their current condition were not immediately released.
Authorities confirmed the driver involved did not stop to render aid after the crash. Authorities are unsure if the driver was aware of the accident or if the crash was intentional.
An investigation by the Stockton police is ongoing.
