Man Dies in Stockton Pedestrian Crash near West Lane and Knickerbocker Drive
Stockton, California (February 24, 2019) – A man was struck and killed by a vehicle early Saturday morning in Stockton, according to a police report.
The incident happened in the area of West Lane and Knickerbocker Drive shortly before 5 a.m. February 23.
Police said the man was walking in the area when a vehicle struck him.
The victim was rushed to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The authorities withheld the victim’s identity pending notification of the next of kin.
The driver of the vehicle that struck the pedestrian reportedly remained at the site of the crash and cooperated with the police.
The incident is under investigation.
