Minor Injuries Sustained in Stockton Truck Collision at Mariposa and Van Allen Roads
Stockton, California (September 8, 2020) – Minor injuries were reported Sunday morning following a two-vehicle collision in Stockton.
The September 6 minor injury crash took place in the area of Mariposa and Van Allen roads shortly before 6:55 a.m.,
As per the California Highway Patrol report, a pickup truck and a big rig carrying tomatoes crashed at the intersection in unclear circumstances.
The truck, with a 28 feet trailer, swerved off the highway and drove through an orchard upon the impact. Engine oil from the truck reportedly spilled into the soil of the orchard.
