Stockton, California (May 17, 2021) – One person was injured Friday afternoon in a head-on crash at an intersection in Stockton, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The two-car wreck was reported at around 2:25 p.m. Friday, May 14, at the intersection of Howard Road and Borba Road, near Roberts Road.

CHP said a vehicle was traveling on the roadway when the driver attempted to pass a car that was in front of them.

In the process, the vehicle collided head-on with another vehicle. One of the vehicles involved was described as a silver Cadillac.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene and rendered aid to one person who sustained minor injuries as a result of the crash. The name and condition of the patient were not immediately disclosed.

The intersection of Howard and Borba Roads was closed during the investigation.

The accident remains under investigation.
