1 Injured in Stockton Car Accident on 5 Freeway near Downing Avenue
Stockton, California (September 24, 2020) – At least one person was injured in a two-vehicle collision that happened in Stockton on Thursday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident happened at about 10:53 a.m. in the northbound lanes of Interstate 5 Freeway near Downing Avenue.
A sedan was traveling on the roadway when it crashed into the rear of a big rig.
As per the CHP incident logs, at least one person was injured in the accident. The extent of the injuries sustained by the victim was not immediately disclosed.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
