Stockton, California (March 3, 2021) – One person was hospitalized with serious injuries following a Stockton accident Monday morning, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The CHP said the major injury crash happened along Interstate 5 in Stockton just north of Hammer Lane at approximately 7:55 a.m.
As per the report, a blue sedan rear-ended a silver Toyota on the southbound side of the freeway.
Due to the impact, the blue-colored vehicle went off the freeway and rolled down an embankment.
Stockton 2-Vehicle Crash Monday Morning
One unidentified victim sustained major injuries and was rushed to an area hospital for medication.
The wreck resulted in the closure of the southbound Interstate 5 for an unknown time.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
