Redding, California (August 3, 2020) – Steven Lee Grondahl Jr., 37, of Redding, has been identified as the motorcyclist who was killed in a traffic accident on Friday night in Redding, according to the Shasta County Coroner’s Office.

The deadly accident transpired at about 9:30 p.m., on July 31, on Highway 44 near Park Marina Drive.

According to the authorities, an SUV collided with a motorcycle, driven by Grondahl, on the roadway. The manner at which the crash occurred is yet to be established.

Grondahl Jr was pronounced dead at the scene.

The SUV driver was not injured in the crash.

Traffic on the roadway was stopped for an unknown period due to the accident.
