Steven Benedetti Seriously Injured in Fatal Head-On Crash on Highway 29 in Napa
Steven Benedetti ID’d as 1 of 3 Persons Injured in Napa Car Crash on Highway 29

Napa, California (December 24, 2020) – Steven Benedetti, 35, of Danville, has been identified as one of the three persons who were seriously injured in a two-vehicle accident on Wednesday afternoon in Napa, authorities said.
The deadly accident transpired at about 12:35 p.m., on December 23, on Highway 29, north of Robert Louis Stevenson State Park and Mount St. Helena.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2006 Lexus, driven by Sean Spurlock, 40, of Clear Lake, was headed southbound on Highway 29 when it crossed the solid double yellow line into the northbound lane of the highway.
Unfortunately, the 2006 Lexus collided head-on with a 2013 Lexus operated by Benedetti, the officials said.

Sadly, a passenger in the 2006 Lexus, Jassin Williams, 50, of Clear Lake, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Both Spurlock and Benedetti sustained major injuries in the accident. Spurlock was airlifted to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital by helicopter while Benedetti was taken to Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa.
A passenger in Benedetti’s vehicle sustained major injuries and was flown to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for treatment.
According to the CHP, all parties involved in the accident were wearing seatbelts.
The crash remains under investigation.
