Stanislav Tsyganiuk Hurt in Fatal Auburn DUI Car Crash on Interstate 80
Auburn, California (April 25, 2021) – 25-year-old Stanislav Tsyganiuk, of Sacramento, has been identified as the victim who sustained minor injuries following a fatal multi-vehicle crash Thursday night, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The deadly crash happened at approximately 9:35 p.m. on Interstate 80.
A 2009 gold Toyota Corolla operated by an 18-year-old Roseville man on the eastbound side of the freeway lost control and slammed into the median on April 22.
The male motorist was hit by a 2018 white Ford Mustang driven by Stanislav after he veered back into traffic. The Toyota Corolla was also struck again by a vehicle operated by 24-year-old Ryan Mills of Roseville.
Auburn Accident Injures Stanislav Tsyganiuk
Sadly, the 18-year-old Toyota driver died in the accident.
Both Mills and Tsyganiuk sustained minor injuries following the wreck.
Meanwhile, police arrested Mills on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
The crash resulted in the closure of eastbound Interstate 80 at Douglas Boulevard for about an hour.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
