Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Spring Valley Accident on Jamacha Boulevard near Grand Avenue
Spring Valley, California (March 22, 2018) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle Thursday night in the La Presa neighborhood, according to a local news source.
The accident happened shortly before 8:20 p.m. Thursday, March 21 on Jamacha Boulevard near Grand Avenue.
As per the report, authorities said for an unknown reason the pedestrian was hit by a vehicle on Jamacha Boulevard.

Responding paramedics found the victim lying down in the roadway after the crash. The patient was then taken by ground ambulance to Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego with major injuries.
The name of the victim and their condition were not immediately available.
It was immediately unclear if the driver of the vehicle involved remained at the scene after the accident.
Authorities closed both directions of Jamacha Boulevard during the investigation.
