Injuries Sustained in Spring Valley Crash at Jamacha Road and Kempton Street

Spring Valley, California (July 17, 2021) – Two innocent people were injured following an alleged DUI accident at an intersection in Spring Valley on Tuesday.
The multi-vehicle collision happened in the area of Jamacha Road and Kempton Street on July 13.
A 1998 Mitsubishi Montero driven by a 21-year-old man east on Jamacha Road rear-ended a GMC Sierra as it entered the intersection at Kempton Street for undetermined reasons.
Officials affirmed the Mitsubishi driver struck another vehicle after running a red light at State Route 125 while fleeing the previous crash site.
Spring Valley DUI Collision
Due to the impact, the Mitsubishi overturned and injured the driver.
The GMC operator, a 73-year-old man, suffered unspecified injuries following the accident.
As per the report, the 2012 Kia Sorento driver, a 41-year-old woman, survived with minor injuries in the crash.
Officials said the hit-and-run suspect was intoxicated at the time of the collision. He was arrested on suspicion of DUI and hit-and-run.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
