Spring Valley, California (June 19, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a two-vehicle crash that took place in Spring Valley Sunday night.

The alleged hit-and-run collision occurred at the intersection of Jamacha Boulevard and Lamplighter Village Drive just about 9:40 p.m. on June 14

The accident involved a green Honda sedan and a white Dodge Ram that crashed at the intersection, in front of the 7-Eleven convenience store, for reasons still under investigation.

Due to the impact, the Honda came to a stop in the middle of the highway.

The operator of the Dodge Ram did not stop to render aid after the mishap.

Dodge Ram and Honda Sedan Involved in Spring Valley Car Crash 

The wreck resulted in unspecified injuries to one person riding in the sedan. The unidentified victim was attended to by medical personnel who responded at the scene shortly after 9:40 p.m.

Officials affirmed the suspect was later found in the parking of a liquor store.

No additional information about the accident was provided.
