South Sacramento, California (May 13, 2019) – At least one person was injured after a multi-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon in the area of South Sacramento, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The collision happened at around 12:40 p.m. Sunday, May 12, on 5 Freeway, just south of Hood Franklin Road off-ramp.
As per the report, three vehicles collided for unknown reasons.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to at least one person who complained of pain as a result of the crash. The name of the patient and their current condition were not immediately provided.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
Authorities blocked lane 1 following the crash. The roadway was cleared as of 1:36 p.m.
No other information concerning this crash was provided.
