One Killed in South Los Angeles Pedestrian Accident at Firestone Boulevard and Zamora Avenue
South Los Angeles, California (October 3, 2020) – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle on Friday night in South Los Angeles, authorities said.
At about 7:00 p.m., on October 2, the California Highway Patrol responded to the deadly accident at the intersection of Firestone Boulevard and Zamora Avenue.
According to the CHP, the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at the intersection in unclear circumstances.
First responders arrived at the scene and found the victim unresponsive in the middle of the street.
Sadly the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
