Driver Hospitalized after South Lake Tahoe Crash on Highway 89 near Pickett’s Junction
South Lake Tahoe, California (April 18, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a Friday evening traffic accident that left one person injured in South Lake Tahoe.
The accident occurred at about 5:44 p.m., on April 16, on Highway 89, north of Pickett’s Junction.
According to a local news source, a green Ford Explorer SUV was traveling northbound, lost control and overturned down an embankment.
Driver Injured in Highway 89 Crash
The driver sustained moderate injuries in the accident and was transported to Barton Memorial Hospital.
