1 Killed in Sonoma Crash on Highway 121 near Napa Road
Sonoma County, California (January 17, 2019) – One person was killed after a traffic collision Wednesday afternoon in the area of Sonoma County, according to a local news source.
The deadly collision was reported at around 2:52 p.m. Wednesday, on Highway 121 near Napa Road, just west of Stornetta Dairy.
As per the report, a white colored sedan and a large truck crashed for unknown reasons. A third car was possibly involved in the accident.
Firefighters along with medical personnel responded to the scene and confirmed at least one person dead at the scene. The name of the victim was not immediately released awaiting notification of next of kin.
Officials did not mention if any other person was injured in the collision.
Authorities shut down Highway 121 from Ramal Road to Napa Road as a result of the collision.
