1 Injured in Sonoma Pedestrian Crash at Riverside Drive and Craig Avenue
Sonoma, California (December 11, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a possible hit-and-run auto-pedestrian accident that happened Thursday afternoon at an intersection in Sonoma.
The crash happened at about 5:48 p.m. at Riverside Drive and Craig Avenue.
Firefighters responded to the scene after reports of the accident to find the victim in the roadway with severe injuries. An ambulance was requested to transport the patient to the hospital.
Authorities suspected the accident was a hit-and-run since there was no vehicle found at the scene. However, a windshield wiper was found in the roadway where the accident happened.
The vehicle involved is believed to have a broken windshield wiper and front-end damage.
CHP is investigating the incident.
