1 Hospitalized after Sonoma Crash on Highway 116 at W Watmaugh Road

Sonoma, California (March 10, 2021) – One person was hospitalized after two vehicles collided Wednesday afternoon at an intersection in Sonoma, the California Highway Patrol said.
According to CHP, a Dodge Ram pickup truck with a utility trailer and a Saturn collided head-on at around 4:22 p.m. on Highway 116 at W Watmaugh Road.
The impact sent the pickup truck about 15 feet off the roadway into a ditch.
One person was taken to Queen of the Valley Hospital with the complaint of pain to the back, neck, and a possible leg injury.
Both vehicles were towed away with major front-end damage.
The cause of the crash remained unknown, but authorities are investigating.
