Solano County, CA: Big Rig Crash on Highway 12
1 Injured in Solano County Truck Accident on Highway 12 near Denverton Road
Solano County, California (April 9, 2021) – One person was injured Thursday afternoon in a single-vehicle rollover crash near Rio Vista in Solano County, according to a local news source.
Just after 7:10 a.m. Thursday, April 8, the California Highway Patrol officers responded to the westbound Highway 12, just west of Denverton Road, to investigate the report of a traffic accident.
According to the CHP, a tractor-trailer carrying various boxes of alcoholic beverages veered off the roadway for an unknown reason. The driver tried to steer back, but the truck flipped on its right side.
The truck driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The name and condition of the victim were not immediately disclosed.
The westbound lane of Highway 12was shut down while the investigation and cleanup took place.
