Several Injured in Skaggs Island Accident near Highway 37
Skaggs, California (February 17, 2019) – Several people were injured in a hot air balloon crash on Skaggs Island on Sunday morning, according to the Vallejo Fire Department.
The incident was reported at about 9:54 a.m. near Highway 37.
According to the fire crews, ten people were onboard the aircraft when it crashed.
There were reports of minor injuries. A CHP helicopter was dispatched to the scene to access the location and bring the passengers to safety.
There were no further details on the accident.
The cause of the crash remained under investigation.
