Person Seriously Injured in Simi Valley Pedestrian Accident on First Street near Los Angeles Avenue
Simi Valley, California (November 2, 2020) – A pedestrian was struck and seriously injured by a vehicle Sunday evening in Simi Valley, according to a local news source.
At about 6:08 p.m. Sunday, October 1, the authorities received a report about the accident on First Street near Los Angeles Avenue.
As per the report, the pedestrian was hit by a vehicle on First Street near First and Pacific Avenue for undetermined reasons.
Pedestrian Injured After Being Hit by Vehicle in Simi Valley
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and found the pedestrian suffering from major head injuries as a result of the accident.
The patient was then transported to Los Robles Regional Medical Center in Thousand Oaks, where they were listed in critical condition. The name of the victim was not disclosed.
The driver of the vehicle involved stopped at the scene and cooperated with the authorities. First Street between Los Angeles and Royal avenues were closed following the accident.
No other details regarding the collision were immediately provided.
