Simi Valley, California (August 15, 2019) – Two drivers were hospitalized after their vehicles collided Thursday morning in Simi Valley, a local news source reported.

The incident occurred at about 9:45 a.m. on Highway 118 near Yosemite Avenue.

As per the article, the California Highway Patrol said two cars collided for unknown reasons and one of them rolled over onto its roof.

The drivers of the cars, a male and a female, were taken to Adventist Health Simi Valley as a precaution, officials said. They were the only occupants of their vehicles.

Authorities closed the Yosemite entrance ramp following the crash until 11:15 a.m.

CHP is investigating the collision.
